According to historical sources, the village of Glozhene has existed since the middle of the 19th century in its current structural model. Until this moment of spontaneous displacement to its current location, the village was very far from each other neighborhoods or localities. One of these places is “Vra” which nowadays is known by this dialect name, preserved through the generations. Several forest trails on the eastern slope of the mountain lead to it, but it is advisable to have a local guide. The interesting here is that every year a different Glozhene family, originating from “Vra”, organizes a vow. It takes place on the penultimate Saturday of May each year and lasts about 1-2 days. It flows with parties, music, treats, and overnight stays in tents. When the sky is clear, a striking view of the Glozhene monastery “St. Great Martyr George the Victorious” appears. Near the meadow, where the celebration usually takes place, there is a fountain with spring water. “Vraa” is probably the only area that impresses the local people mainly with its emotional charge, as well as the guests of Glozhene, who have witnessed such an event as the traditional annual “Vráovski vow.
